FAMILY NIGHT OUT
Family Night Out events begin with a family meal, followed by a one-hour workshop for adults on a current topic of concern to parents. Children are involved with youth activities or childcare during that time. Topics provide parents and other adults with the most current information on challenging, contemporary issues such as internet safety, bullying behavior, drug and alcohol abuse, and how to help your child be successful at home and in school.
Family Night Out events are held periodically throughout the school year at schools across Otoe County.

Why Family Night Out Events?
- Because parents need a way to stay current with new information.
- Parenting in the 21st century is complicated.
- There are many new issues parents face today that were not present when they were growing up.
- People are busy.
- Family Night Out allows you to sit down and have dinner with your family with no cost, no prep, and no cleanup.
- Parents can get the information they need and be in and out in an hour.
- Children have fun things to do while the parents are involved with the workshops.
